General Counsel
The Office of General Counsel provides legal counsel, guidance, preventative legal advice, and services to the Board of Trustees, the President, the Vice Presidents, and other administrative officers, and to the faculty with respect to all legal issues affecting the College.
The Office of General Counsel was established to ensure that all Providence College’s legal rights and opportunities are protected and that the College’s legal obligations are met.
The office provides legal services and advice on a wide range of issues including contracts, subpoenas, business matters, personnel issues, and student rights. In addition, the Office of General Counsel manages the College’s litigation.
The Office of General Counsel cannot provide legal services to employees or students in their individual, personal capacity.
